Dan Vissers

Dan Vissers is an actor, singer, producer, director, and songwriter/recording artist who has been performing professionally for over 30 years and has been a proud member of The Actor's Equity Association since 1999. Dan has worked on Broadway, Off Broadway, and several national tours throughout the USA, and is a graduate of The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York City. Throughout his career, Dan has received numerous recognitions/awards, including placing first overall in The Garden State Talent expo where he tallied a perfect score (a first for the competition).

Dan’s professional credits include Jesus/Judas/Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar (tours and regional), Frankie in Forever Plaid, Jaime in The Last 5 Years, Tateh in Ragtime, Tommy in The Who’s Tommy, Dr. Frank N Furter in Rocky Horror, Man #2 in Songs for a New World, Jon in Tick, Tick…Boom!, Pippin in Pippin, and Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors.

In addition to performing, Dan is the Founder/Artistic Director of Pioneer Productions Company, Inc., a nonprofit New Jersey theater company founded in 2003, as well as a New York/New Jersey Lic. Massage Therapist (24 years) and New Jersey Lic. Real Estate Agent. Dan is most proud of his beautiful family who are his biggest fans: His wife: Carrie, daughter: Ashlee, and son: Gabriel!
